Project Manager

Location: Melbourne
Salary: $160,000 - $120,000 + superannuation

Responsibilities:

Managing multiple projects at a time, you will lead these projects frompre construction through to final handover.

• Full Lifecycle Project Delivery: Spearhead projects from initial pre-construction phases through to final handover and completion.

• Cross-Functional Leadership: Synchronise design, estimating, and site-based teams to ensure cohesive operational alignment.

• Operational & Financial Oversight: Direct project programming, budgetary controls, and subcontractor procurement to maintain strict adherence to margins and deadlines.

• D&C Risk Mitigation: Conduct rigorous technical reviews of drawings to proactively identify and mitigate Design & Construct (D&C) risks.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison for client communications and facilitate high-level project governance meetings.

• Quality & Safety Governance: Oversee on-site execution, ensuring uncompromising standards of safety, quality assurance, and progress monitoring.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Construction related degree
• Demonstrative experience managing Commercial New Build projects
• Experience leading teams and ensuring projects remain on time, budget and to the highest quality
• A key understanding of Australian construction codes, standards and contracts
• Strong financial acumen and procurement experience
• Tech savvy and a willingness to drive systems and processes
• Unlimited working rights in Australia.
